About the Role
Maurice Xandra Solutions is currently recruiting for a visionary and results-driven Head, Retail Banking to lead the retail banking operations for our esteemed client in the financial services sector. In this executive leadership role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the bank's retail strategy, expanding market share, and driving exceptional customer experiences across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive retail banking strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and overall profitability.
- Drive aggressive deposit mobilisation, loan disbursements, payments, and transaction volume growth.
- Lead the development, rollout, and adoption of innovative retail banking products and cutting-edge digital solutions.
- Strengthen customer engagement, foster long-term loyalty, and maximize cross-selling opportunities across all retail product lines.
- Identify high-value business opportunities and strategically expand the bank’s retail market presence in key Nigerian regions.
- Monitor business performance metrics, actively manage retail banking risks, and ensure strict compliance with regulatory frameworks.
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams of banking professionals to consistently achieve and exceed business targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 10 to 12 years of progressive retail banking experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven, verifiable track record in customer acquisition, large-scale deposit mobilisation, and digital banking growth.
- Strong, comprehensive understanding of consumer lending, credit analysis, and retail risk management practices.
- Hands-on experience working with modern digital banking platforms and fintech integration solutions.
- Exceptional leadership, advanced sales, strategic planning, and stakeholder relationship management skills.
- An MBA or relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
