We are currently seeking a dynamic and result-driven Head of Project to join our growing organization in Nigeria. In this vital leadership role, you will oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring our innovative housing projects are executed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Interpreting and thoroughly understanding construction drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
- Conducting precise site surveys, establishing site control points, and setting out construction lines and levels.
- Inspecting work in progress rigorously to maintain the highest quality control and assurance standards.
- Supervising construction crews, assigning daily tasks, and coordinating all site activities effectively.
- Managing overall site logistics, including heavy equipment deployment and strict access control measures.
- Enforcing all safety regulations on site by conducting regular inspections and swiftly addressing potential hazards.
- Ensuring full compliance with all relevant Nigerian building codes, zoning laws, and statutory permits.
- HND or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related construction field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven professional experience in real estate construction projects and infrastructure development.
- Must possess active COREN certification.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and executive decision-making capabilities.
