About the Role
Cosgrove Investment Limited, a leading real estate development and general construction company in Nigeria, is seeking an experienced Head of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) to join our dynamic team. In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of all M&E systems across our high-end residential and commercial construction projects, ensuring they meet the highest international standards of quality, safety, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end M&E operations from initial design and planning through to execution, testing, commissioning, and project handover.
- Oversee the implementation of advanced HVAC systems, electrical installations, plumbing, fire protection, and comprehensive building services.
- Drive project planning, budgeting, cost control, quality assurance, and risk management strategies for all mechanical and electrical installations.
- Lead, mentor, and coordinate multidisciplinary M&E teams, external consultants, contractors, and subcontractors effectively.
- Ensure strict adherence to national and international construction standards, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor's degree (BSc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- 10 to 15 years of proven professional experience in M&E engineering within the real estate development, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
- Relevant professional certifications and active membership in recognized engineering bodies will be a strong added advantage.
- Demonstrated expertise in leading large-scale construction projects with a track record of timely and cost-effective delivery.
