About the Role
Rima Microfinance Bank is seeking a visionary and hands-on Head of Information Technology & Digital Banking to take full technical ownership of our digital infrastructure. In this critical leadership role, you will manage our mobile banking applications, middleware, cloud servers, source-code repositories, APIs, and overall digital banking integrations. Please note that this is an advanced, hands-on technical leadership position rather than a traditional IT support role, requiring deep involvement in software architecture and fintech solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the end-to-end technical development, deployment, and optimization of the bank mobile banking application and digital platforms.
- Manage cloud infrastructure, databases, Linux and Windows server administration, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Oversee source-code repositories and implement robust Git and GitHub management best practices.
- Directly supervise API integration, troubleshooting, and seamless connectivity with core banking systems.
- Manage critical integrations with NIBSS, Interswitch, and other major payment service providers in Nigeria.
- Independently diagnose and resolve complex transaction failures across the mobile app, middleware, core banking software, and payment rails.
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong background in backend software engineering and fintech, banking, or payment systems infrastructure.
- Expertise in API integration, cloud infrastructure, databases, and DevOps.
- Proficient in Linux and Windows server administration alongside Git and GitHub source-code management.
- Familiarity with Flutter and mobile application development is an added advantage.
