About the Role
Eden Solutions and Resources Ltd is seeking a dedicated and skilled Hardware Technician to join our team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our IT infrastructure runs smoothly by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading computer hardware and related peripherals. We are looking for a hands-on professional who can efficiently diagnose technical faults, minimize downtime, and support our dynamic business operations.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair computer hardware, printers, network devices, and other essential IT equipment.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain diverse hardware components and system peripherals.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and scheduled system checks to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot complex hardware and connectivity issues, providing timely and effective technical support.
- Replace faulty components securely, including RAM, hard drives, power supplies, and motherboards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of hardware assets, repairs, replacements, and maintenance activities.
- Assist with office equipment setup, physical relocation, and new user workstation installations.
- Ensure all company IT equipment is properly secured, fully functional, and well-maintained.
- Minimum of OND, HND, or BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated practical experience in hardware installation, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Solid working knowledge of computer systems, peripheral devices, and basic networking concepts.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and diagnostic skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and respond promptly to technical issues.
