About the Role
LifeBank is a pioneering healthcare technology and logistics platform that makes critical medical products like blood and oxygen available when and where they are needed in Nigeria to save lives. We are currently looking for a talented Group Finance Associate to join our dynamic team in Lagos, Nigeria, to maintain the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, oversee accounts receivable, manage financial reconciliations, and prepare timely management accounts.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring invoices are accurately raised, tracked, and reconciled.
- Monitor collections against outstanding invoices and collaborate with sales and operations teams to resolve billing issues.
- Perform regular bank, customer, supplier, general ledger, and intercompany reconciliations with clear audit trails.
- Prepare and submit accurate monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Analyze financial performance across business units, identifying variances, financial risks, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Support the CEO with regular updates on financial performance, collections, cash flow planning, and financial forecasting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) or progress towards completion is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in financial accounting, accounts receivable management, and financial reconciliation.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and financial modelling.
- Exceptional analytical skills with high attention to detail and data integrity.
- Ability to work independently, meet strict reporting deadlines, and communicate financial insights effectively.
