About the Role
Habrams Energy is a leading energy organization dedicated to delivering exceptional value through seamless collaboration and innovative subsurface solutions. We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Geoscientist III to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will integrate geological, geophysical, petrophysical, reservoir, and production data to build robust subsurface models that directly support field development, reservoir management, production optimization, and reserves maturation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain integrated geological models using seismic interpretation, well correlations, petrophysical evaluation, and production data.
- Assess reservoir architecture, connectivity, compartmentalization, fluid distribution, and remaining hydrocarbon potential by integrating dynamic data.
- Identify and mature development and production opportunities, including infill wells, sidetracks, and workovers.
- Provide critical production-geology input for Field Development Plans, integrated subsurface studies, and reservoir-management activities.
- Lead geological input for the Well Delivery Process, defining well objectives, reservoir targets, depth prognoses, drilling risks, and data-acquisition requirements.
- Offer operational geological support during drilling and workover activities, interpreting real-time well data to mitigate uncertainties.
- Prepare and quality-assure geological proposals, well resumes, post-well evaluations, and End-of-Well Reports while updating databases.
- Perform geological risk and uncertainty analysis for volumetric assessments and strategic development decisions.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including Reservoir Engineering, Production Technology, and Wells.
- Coach and mentor junior geoscientists, fostering knowledge sharing and technical capability development across the team.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geoscience, Geology, Geophysics, or a closely related discipline.
- Extensive professional experience in integrating multidisciplinary subsurface data for field development and reservoir evaluation.
- Demonstrated expertise in geological modeling, production geology, well maturation, and the Well Delivery Process.
- Strong working knowledge of subsurface risk assessment, volumetric evaluation, and modern reservoir-management practices.
- Exceptional teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to present technical recommendations clearly.
- Proven capability to manage competing priorities, handle complex projects, and deliver high-quality outputs under tight schedules.
- Competitive salary package commensurate with industry standards and experience.
- Comprehensive health insurance coverage for employees and eligible dependents.
- Opportunities for continuous professional development, technical training, and career progression.
- A collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance work culture dedicated to operational excellence in the Nigerian energy sector.
