About the Role
Nautilus Nigeria Engineering and Construction Limited is a leading provider of engineering, project support, and specialist technical manpower services to the global oil and gas industry. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Geoscientist III to join our dynamic subsurface team. In this pivotal role, you will integrate geological, geophysical, petrophysical, and production data to build robust predictive models that drive field development, enhance reservoir management, and maximize hydrocarbon recovery across our assigned assets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain integrated geological models by incorporating seismic interpretation, well correlations, and petrophysical evaluations.
- Identify, evaluate, and mature high-value development and production opportunities, including infill drilling, sidetracks, and workovers.
- Lead geological input throughout the Well Delivery Process, establishing precise well targets, depth prognoses, and data-acquisition programs.
- Provide continuous geological support during active drilling and workover operations to mitigate subsurface risks and interpret real-time data.
- Collaborate closely with reservoir engineers, production technologists, and drilling teams to support integrated field development plans.
- Mentor junior geoscientists, share technical expertise, and contribute to knowledge-development initiatives within the organization.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Geophysics, or a related Earth Science discipline.
- Extensive professional experience in production geology, seismic interpretation, and integrated subsurface modeling within the oil and gas sector.
- Strong proficiency in industry-standard geoscience software and geological risk-assessment methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder environments.
