Aster Bloom Academy, formerly known as Chuckler's Heights Montessori, is a premier private educational institution in Benin City, Edo State, dedicated to delivering exceptional early and primary education. Following our exciting rebrand and relocation to our permanent campus, we are expanding our academic offerings to include Junior Secondary School (JSS1 and JSS2) levels. We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Geography Teacher to join our growing community of passionate educators.
We are looking for a dedicated professional who is committed to creating an engaging, safe, and inspiring learning environment where students develop a genuine love for geographical knowledge and critical thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive Geography lessons aligned with the Nigerian curriculum to junior secondary students
- Create dynamic lesson plans incorporating interactive teaching methods and practical activities
- Assess student progress through regular evaluation and provide constructive feedback
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration
- Collaborate with colleagues to support school initiatives and student development
- Maintain classroom discipline while nurturing a positive learning culture
- Bachelor's degree in Geography or related field
- Valid teaching certification or qualification recognized in Nigeria
- Proven experience teaching at secondary level (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
