About the Role
Ardova Plc is a leading Nigerian integrated energy company renowned for distributing petroleum products and quality lubricants with a nationwide retail network. We are looking for a dedicated Mid-Level Frontend Developer to join our dynamic technology team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing responsive web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences while supporting our business objectives in the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Translate UI/UX wireframes and mockups into pixel-perfect, accessible code adhering to WCAG standards.
- Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs seamlessly.
- Optimise web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Write clean, well-documented code and maintain unit and integration tests using tools like Jest or Cypress.
- Leverage AI tools and coding assistants to enhance development speed, code quality, and problem-solving efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews and support the CI/CD pipeline for front-end deployments.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Frontend Developer or Web Developer.
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2.2 in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and modern front-end build tools.
- Experience with state management libraries, version control systems (Git), and responsive design principles.
- Relevant professional certifications such as the Meta Front-End Developer Certificate or freeCodeCamp Certification are a distinct advantage.
