About the Role
Sportivation Radio is a cutting-edge digital sports radio station launched in January 2026 by Sportivation Media in Lagos, Nigeria. We are dedicated to providing our listeners with timely, credible, and engaging sports coverage, live discussions, and expert commentary. As we expand our dynamic team, we are currently looking for passionate and driven Freelancers to help us deliver top-tier sports content across our digital broadcasting platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Research, write, and present compelling sports news, updates, and analysis for digital radio broadcast.
- Conduct engaging interviews with athletes, coaches, and key stakeholders in the sports industry.
- Collaborate with the production and editorial teams to develop creative sports programming and segment ideas.
- Monitor local and international sports trends to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Assist in managing digital audio content and contributing to station engagement initiatives.
- Relevant qualifications in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience or a strong portfolio in sports journalism, broadcasting, or content creation.
- Exceptional verbal communication, storytelling, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of local and global sports landscapes.
