In this exciting role, you will apply your woodworking skills to design and construct custom frames that elevate the aesthetic appeal of various artworks, paintings, and creative designs. Key Responsibilities- Utilize woodworking tools and techniques to measure, cut, and assemble unique frame designs for diverse artworks and paintings.
- Collaborate with curators and artists to determine the best framing options that protect and enhance the visual beauty of each piece.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop while ensuring optimal usage of materials and minimizing waste.
- Inspect finished frames meticulously to guarantee high-quality standards and flawless presentation before final delivery or exhibition.
- Keep accurate digital records of framing inventories and project specifications using basic computer systems.
- Vocational training, certification, or proven practical skills as a wood technician or carpenter.
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on framing or woodworking experience is desirable, though passionate entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Exceptional craftsmanship with strong attention to detail and a creative flair for custom designs.
- Good verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
- Basic computer literacy for daily administrative tasks and inventory tracking.
