About the Role
Masters Ville Children School is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Foreign Languages Teacher to join our academic team in Isolo, Lagos. This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about language instruction and committed to fostering effective communication skills in young learners within a warm, structured, and child-centred Montessori environment.
As a Foreign Languages Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that build students' proficiency in a foreign language while integrating modern teaching methods and technology into the classroom. You will play a vital role in shaping young minds and instilling a love for language learning from an early age.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured foreign language lessons suited to different age groups.
- Create a stimulating and interactive classroom environment that encourages participation and language retention.
- Assess and monitor pupils' progress, providing feedback to parents and school management as required.
- Integrate ICT tools and multimedia resources to enhance language learning outcomes.
- Prepare instructional materials, assignments, and assessments aligned with the school's curriculum standards.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support the overall academic development of pupils.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behaviour.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and staff development programmes.
- Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
- Minimum of NCE (Nigeria Certificate in Education), B.Ed., or B.Sc./B.A. with a PGDE or equivalent qualification.
- Proven teaching experience in a reputable school, preferably teaching foreign languages.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- ICT proficient with the ability to integrate technology into classroom instruction effectively.
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
