We are currently looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Fleet Officer to join our vibrant operations team in Port Harcourt. This is an exceptional opportunity for a serving or prospective NYSC corps member to gain hands-on experience in fleet management and logistics within a fast-paced corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the daily monitoring, tracking, and coordination of company fleet movements and vehicle deployment.
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation for all vehicles, including insurance, registration, and maintenance logs.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule routine servicing and prompt repairs to minimize vehicle downtime.
- Track fuel consumption, mileage, and related operational expenses using Microsoft Excel to ensure cost efficiency.
- Liaise with drivers and other logistics personnel to resolve daily operational challenges promptly.
- Prepare accurate periodic reports on fleet performance, maintenance costs, and incident logs for management review.
- Possession of a good Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation Management, Business Administration, or any related field.
- Must currently be a serving NYSC corps member or a prospective corps member ready to be deployed to Port Harcourt.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
