About the Role
As a Fleet Officer at Grand Oak Limited, you will be the vital link ensuring complete visibility of our vehicle fleet in transit. You'll monitor real-time truck movements using GPS and fleet management platforms, proactively identify operational challenges, and coordinate timely interventions to guarantee safe, secure, and punctual deliveries across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor all trucks in transit using GPS tracking systems and fleet management platforms, tracking locations, speed, and estimated time of arrival
- Maintain continuous communication with drivers and transport providers while updating warehouse, customer service, and sales teams on delivery progress
- Immediately report and manage incidents including truck diversions, accidents, security threats, and prolonged delays with comprehensive incident logging
- Ensure strict adherence to approved routes, safety protocols, and company transportation standards while verifying GIT insurance validity and compliance
- Coordinate pre-trip inspections for all trucks and produce daily movement reports, delivery status updates, and KPI analytics
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in logistics, fleet monitoring, or transportation operations
- Proficiency with GPS and fleet management systems
- Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication abilities with exceptional attention to detail and multitasking proficiency
