Brickhall School is seeking a talented and creative Fine and Applied Art Teacher to join our dynamic team of educators. Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Fine and Applied Art lessons in line with the school curriculum
- Develop students' artistic skills, creativity, and appreciation for visual arts
- Create a stimulating and organised art studio environment conducive to learning
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback
- Prepare students for internal and external art examinations, including IGCSE/Checkpoint where applicable
- Integrate the British Curriculum standards into lesson planning and delivery
- Collaborate with other teachers and departments to support interdisciplinary learning
- Maintain art supplies, tools, and studio equipment in good condition
- Organise and participate in art exhibitions, competitions, and school events
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom atmosphere for all students
- B.A (Ed) or B.A with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)
- Proficiency in delivering the British Curriculum is an added advantage
- Minimum of 2-5 years' cognate teaching experience in a reputable school or organisation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Candidates for IGCSE/Checkpoint positions must have proven experience delivering the British Curriculum and preparing students for Cambridge examinations
