About the Role

We are currently looking for a strategic and hands-on Financial Controller to spearhead our financial operations, strengthen internal controls, and support our next phase of rapid growth in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare accurate IFRS-compliant financial statements and lead month-end closing processes.
- Manage treasury functions, daily cash positions, liquidity planning, and debt covenants.
- Lead fundraising readiness by building financial models, managing data rooms, and facilitating due diligence.
- Oversee tax compliance including CIT, VAT, WHT, and statutory regulatory filings with relevant authorities.
- Design and enforce robust internal controls, risk management frameworks, and coordinate external audits.
- Lead, coach, and develop the finance and accounting team to drive operational excellence.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Mandatory ACA (ICAN) or ACCA professional qualification.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in IFRS, Nigerian tax laws, financial modeling, and fundraising execution.
