About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Financial Controller to oversee financial operations, robust reporting, and internal controls. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience within a manufacturing or Public Limited Company (PLC) environment, ensuring absolute financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and strategic fiscal management.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement aligned financial strategies to optimize shareholder value and support long-term business goals.
- Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting in strict compliance with international accounting standards and local regulatory requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive annual bottom-up budgets and produce reliable quarterly forecasts to meet corporate timelines.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, working capital, foreign exchange exposure, and banking relationships effectively.
- Design, update, and enforce robust operational policies, processes, and internal control procedures.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team to foster excellence and continuous learning.
- Provide insightful financial analysis, variance tracking, and KPI monitoring to drive senior management decision-making.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- 10 to 15 years of progressive finance leadership experience within a medium-to-large corporate, PLC, or manufacturing environment.
- Mandatory professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or an approved global equivalent.
- Extensive expertise in IFRS, local taxation regimes, costing, inventory management, and audit processes.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics 365, alongside advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
