About the Role
Lotus Capital Limited, a pioneering full-service ethical investment management company, seeks an experienced Financial Advisory Officer to join our dynamic team. With 14 years of consistent contribution to non-interest finance in Nigeria and management of 3 mutual funds listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange, we are looking for a talented professional to support our Head of Unit in delivering exceptional financial advisory services across Asset Management, Private Wealth Management, and Financial Advisory.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain a robust client base while identifying and engaging new clients for advisory transactions
- Conduct comprehensive financial and commercial due diligence and develop advanced financial models
- Prepare financing structures, information memorandums, investor presentations, and technical bids
- Articulate clients' business objectives and facilitate negotiations with buy-side and sell-side counterparties
- Manage multiple transaction work streams and coordinate virtual and physical data rooms
- Monitor regulatory changes and track local and international financial market trends
- Conduct industry research and maintain updated databases
- Supervise financial advisory analysts and contribute to departmental marketing initiatives
- First Degree (Second Class Upper minimum), Master's Degree and/or Professional Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CFA)
- 3 to 5 years of core investment banking and financial advisory experience in investment banks or issuing houses
- Strong financial analysis, modelling, and transaction structuring expertise
- Advanced business writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Deep knowledge of Corporate Finance techniques and industry regulatory trends
- Proven entrepreneurial mindset, creativity, and people management abilities
- Experience in infrastructure projects, non-interest finance, or thematic investing is advantageous
- Islamic Finance or SRI training is preferred
