We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations, optimize cash flow, and ensure robust financial controls. In this critical role, you will provide strategic financial insights to executive leadership, ensuring our resources are effectively managed to support continued business growth in the maritime sector.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee all company financial operations, including daily accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.
- Implement and maintain stringent internal financial controls and risk management procedures.
- Ensure full regulatory compliance with Nigerian tax laws, statutory bodies, and financial regulations.
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and treasury operations efficiently.
- Provide actionable financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making across departments.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial consultants as required.
- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably within the shipping, maritime, or logistics industry.
- Active professional certification such as ICAN (ACA) or ACCA is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern enterprise accounting software.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations, statutory compliance standards, and financial reporting frameworks.
