About the Role
Seven Up Bottling Company, a leading player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dynamic and analytical Finance Lead - Operations to join our regional team. In this critical role, you will ensure accurate, timely, and complete end-to-end accounting records in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and internal management guidelines. You will provide strong support to the Operations Finance Manager in driving financial closure processes, periodic reporting, and critical business analysis to optimize operational costs and enhance our internal control environment.
Key Responsibilities- Approve all journal entries on the ERP system, ensuring proper allocation of cost centers and general ledger accounts.
- Coordinate the monthly financial closure process to guarantee all accruals and provisions are accurately booked.
- Assist the Operations Finance Manager in consolidating monthly financial reports prepared by the finance team.
- Review vendor payment supporting documents, including invoices, waybills, and certificates of job completion.
- Provide initial reviews for all regional bank reconciliations and liaise with head office on current account balances.
- Collaborate with cross-functional units to optimize operational costs and strengthen financial controls.
- Participate actively in month-end stock count activities and provide schedules for external statutory audits.
- BSc or HND degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA.
- 4 to 5 years of post-qualification experience within a multinational manufacturing environment.
- Strong expertise in management accountancy, business planning, financial analysis, and ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics Navision.
- Working knowledge of business intelligence applications like Power BI and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
