About the Role

We are currently seeking a meticulous and analytical Finance & Inventory Specialist to oversee the financial aspects of our inventory management. In this role, you will ensure accurate stock records, execute timely reconciliations, and maintain robust inventory controls while collaborating closely with our finance, warehouse, procurement, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate financial records of all inventory transactions and monitor stock valuation movements.
- Perform regular inventory reconciliations between physical stock counts and ERP system records.
- Coordinate periodic physical stock counts, inventory verifications, and goods-receiving processes against purchase orders.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, and stock variances, ensuring prompt corrective actions.
- Review and process inventory-related credit notes, supplier returns, and necessary system adjustments.
- Prepare comprehensive inventory reconciliation reports, highlighting unusual variances and potential shrinkage risks.
- Enforce strict financial controls and maintain proper audit trails for all inventory-related transactions.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 5 years of proven professional experience in inventory accounting, inventory control, or finance operations.
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting physical stock counts, reconciliations, and supply chain documentation.
- Solid understanding of credit notes, inventory adjustments, and fundamental inventory valuation principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hands-on familiarity with modern accounting or ERP inventory software.
