About the Role
BAT Computer Technologies Limited is a leading technology systems integration company licensed by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to provide advanced telecommunications deployment, digital network installation, and robust e-business solutions. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Support Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in delivering exceptional technical solutions to our clients across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Resolve complex technical issues collaboratively with field engineering teams.
- Prepare comprehensive system activity, performance, and incident resolution reports with root cause analysis.
- Supervise the maintenance, installation, testing, and commissioning of telecommunications equipment according to strict engineering specifications.
- Utilize specialized software to evaluate and prepare network diagrams and site configurations.
- Monitor and analyze system performance metrics, including network traffic, security, and capacity.
- Perform rigorous work at heights on towers, masts, and poles to install antennas, feeders, and associated infrastructure.
- Erect and secure steel structures and terminate various types of telecommunications cables in compliance with quality standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of proven professional experience within the ICT and telecommunications industry.
- Relevant training or certifications in Wireless Radio Communication technologies such as Aviat, Dragon, Cambium, Ubiquity, and Mikrotik Radios.
- Proficiency in using tools including Pathloss, Compass, GPS, Range Finders, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong working knowledge of Internet Service Provider (ISP) industry operations, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
