About the Role
Siemens Energy is looking for a dedicated Field Service Representative - Centrifugal Compressor to act as our technical representative at customer sites across Nigeria. In this critical role, you will deliver top-tier field service support for centrifugal gas compressors and associated packages, driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, and troubleshooting for centrifugal gas compressors and auxiliary systems.
- Provide expert technical assistance during equipment commissioning, installation, and major maintenance interventions.
- Monitor equipment condition to identify abnormal sounds, vibrations, or potential safety hazards and apply corrective actions.
- Coordinate maintenance planning, spare parts availability, and resource allocation with customer operations teams.
- Ensure strict compliance with Siemens Energy and client Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, including Permit-to-Work systems.
- Prepare accurate daily service reports and maintain comprehensive equipment maintenance histories.
- Engineering Degree, Diploma, or equivalent technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant field service and maintenance experience in the oil and gas or industrial sector.
- Proven hands-on experience working with centrifugal gas compressors and rotating equipment in onshore and offshore environments.
- Strong working knowledge of gas compression theory, compressor package systems, and process operations.
- Valid Offshore Medical Certificate and Offshore Survival Certificate.
