About the Role
Moniepoint Inc. is a leading financial technology company digitizing Africa's real economy by building an innovative financial ecosystem for businesses. We are looking for a results-driven Field Credit Officer to join our team in Delta State to help expand our credit offerings and empower local enterprises.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, onboard, and engage viable businesses within Delta State to open and actively use Moniepoint business accounts.
- Review, evaluate, and approve or decline loan applications by analyzing financial data and assessing the 5Cs of credit, with a focus on capacity, character, and capital.
- Conduct physical site visits to potential and active borrowers' business locations to inspect inventory, review business books, and evaluate turnover.
- Meet and exceed gross loan portfolio and profitability targets while maintaining a healthy, low-default performing loan portfolio.
- Monitor active loans continuously to ensure proper account utilization and timely repayments.
- Minimum of an OND in any business-related discipline.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in credit sales within a financial institution.
- Demonstrable expertise in credit risk analysis and basic financial evaluation.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and high resilience.
