About the Role
TeamAce Limited is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field Credit Officer to join our expanding team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining financial health by managing credit portfolios, conducting field visits, and driving effective loan recovery strategies while ensuring exceptional customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular field visits to customers for credit monitoring and recovery of delinquent loan accounts.
- Engage customers professionally to assess repayment capacity and agree on feasible repayment plans.
- Monitor loan portfolios and follow up on repayment commitments to ensure strict compliance with agreed terms.
- Accurately document all field activities, customer engagements, and visit outcomes on approved internal systems.
- Identify high-risk and non-performing loan accounts proactively and escalate them in line with established procedures.
- Ensure all credit and recovery operations strictly comply with internal policies, CBN regulations, and applicable laws.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 2 years of proven experience in credit operations, loan recovery, or a similar role within a financial institution or Microfinance Bank.
- Sound knowledge of credit administration, risk assessment, and loan recovery processes.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle difficult conversations.
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage multiple accounts, and consistently meet assigned recovery targets.
