About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a premier player in the Nigerian oil and gas sector, providing specialized technical staffing, procurement, and engineering support services. We are currently seeking a dedicated and highly skilled FI/CO Lead User to join our dynamic Finance and Control team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will oversee SAP FI/CO functionalities, drive system integrations, ensure strict compliance with internal controls, and provide vital first-line support to our growing network of SAP users.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes by ensuring plan costs are accurately captured in SAP during budget sessions.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closure processes, maintaining fiscal period openings and closings across modules.
- Provide robust first-line functional support and troubleshooting for SAP FI/CO users, analyzing system bugs and preparing Maintenance Tool Kits.
- Coordinate SAP integration activities, test system upgrades, and assign appropriate security profiles for users.
- Maintain SOX compliance, update financial procedures, and manage the master data of cost objects in SAP.
- Organize and deliver comprehensive training sessions for users on new SAP releases and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting certification such as ICAN or ACCA.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience with advanced SAP FI/CO functional expertise (GL, AP, AR, AA, CCA, IO, PC).
- Strong knowledge of cross-module integrations (MM, PM, Logistics), SAP authorizations, SOX controls, and change management processes.
