About the Role

With thousands of acres of land spanning developing suburban areas, we are expanding our agricultural investments and seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Farming / Investment Farming to lead our large-scale agricultural initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead our farming operations, optimize resource utilization, and ensure our agricultural ventures align with our overarching corporate vision of sustainable community development and wealth creation.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage comprehensive daily farming operations and agricultural investments across our vast estate lands.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to significantly improve agricultural productivity, efficiency, and overall profitability.
- Monitor farm performance metrics, manage operational budgets, and oversee resource allocation.
- Identify lucrative opportunities for agricultural investment, business expansion, and strategic partnerships.
- Ensure the optimal and sustainable utilization of land, agricultural machinery, financial resources, and skilled manpower.
- Minimum of 13 years of relevant, hands-on farming and agricultural management experience.
- Must be an established commercial farmer with a verifiable and successful farming portfolio.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale farm operations and agricultural teams.
- Must have successfully managed a minimum of 100 acres of land under cultivation, supported by verifiable documentation.
- Strong business acumen, exceptional investment management capabilities, and advanced farm operations skills.
