Key Responsibilities- Operate, monitor, and perform routine maintenance on Gas and Diesel Generators to ensure a reliable and continuous electrical power supply for production facilities.
- Manage the daily operation, inspection, and servicing of Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) electrical switchboards safely and efficiently.
- Maintain factory LV transformers, conducting regular diagnostic checks and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and prevent electrical faults.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues promptly, coordinating with the wider engineering team to execute rapid repairs and system optimizations.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety guidelines, environmental standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) during all technical tasks.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven hands-on experience in operating and maintaining industrial gas and diesel generators, MV/LV switchboards, and factory transformers within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical safety protocols, power distribution, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
