About the Role
Uncle Stan's Foods is a fast-growing small chops brand renowned for serving the most delicious and unique finger foods all over Lagos. We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Facility Officer to ensure our restaurant outlets, specialized kitchen equipment, utilities, and overall physical ambience are impeccably maintained, safe, and fully operational at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine, scheduled inspections across all restaurant outlets to proactively identify faults, wear and tear, and general maintenance needs.
- Coordinate prompt repairs and regular servicing of heavy-duty kitchen equipment, power generators, electrical systems, plumbing, and air conditioning units.
- Ensure that the restaurant ambience, including optimal lighting, ventilation, and general physical environment, remains welcoming and pristine.
- Liaise effectively with third-party technicians, artisans, and contractors to ensure all maintenance and repair issues are resolved swiftly with minimal downtime.
- Monitor ongoing maintenance activities closely and report major infrastructural issues or budgetary needs to upper management.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all repairs, routine servicing schedules, and facility maintenance expenses.
- Ensure all company locations strictly comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 proven years of hands-on experience in facility management, building maintenance, or estate upkeep.
- Prior working experience in the hospitality, quick-service restaurant, or retail industries will be a strong added advantage.
- Possess strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate maintenance activities and manage vendor relationships across multiple branch locations in Lagos.
