About the Role
Odibola Properties Limited, a leading Nigerian real estate development and consultancy firm based in Port Harcourt, is looking for a dedicated Facility Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless operation, safety, and maintenance of our commercial and residential properties, upholding the high standards our clients expect from us.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily facility operations, ensuring all property systems, utilities, and infrastructure function efficiently.
- Coordinate and supervise third-party contractors, service vendors, and on-site support staff to ensure quality service delivery.
- Implement proactive preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and repair costs.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all managed locations.
- Manage facility budgets, track operational expenses, and negotiate vendor contracts for optimal cost-effectiveness.
- Resolve tenant maintenance requests and operational issues promptly with a high standard of customer service.
- Maintain comprehensive records of facility inspections, maintenance logs, and asset inventories.
- Bachelor degree in Estate Management, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in facility management or property operations.
- Strong working knowledge of building maintenance systems, safety protocols, and operational best practices.
- Proven ability to manage contractors, vendors, and cross-functional support teams effectively.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and assume full responsibility for facility operations.
