We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Facility Manager to oversee our physical workspace, ensuring a safe, efficient, and fully functional environment for our staff and clients. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in building maintenance with exceptional vendor management skills to optimize our daily operations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for electrical, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, and backup power generators.
- Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all facility assets, machinery, and equipment while coordinating building upgrades and repairs.
- Onboard and manage external service providers for cleaning, security, catering, waste management, and landscaping while monitoring SLAs and KPIs.
- Ensure strict alignment with Nigerian regulatory authorities such as LASEPA, LAWMA, and relevant municipal safety guidelines.
- Enforce workplace safety protocols, conduct routine risk assessments, and manage emergency preparedness and evacuation drills.
- HND or Bachelor Degree in Estate Management, Building, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in facility, estate, or operations management within the Nigerian market.
- Professional credentials such as IFMA Nigeria certifications (FMP, CFM, or SFP) are a distinct advantage.
- Robust knowledge of local building systems, power backup setups, diesel generators, and inverter systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and crisis-management abilities.
