About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is currently recruiting a skilled and dedicated Extrusion Technician (Electrical) specializing in PVC manufacturing for our esteemed client. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation of heavy-duty extrusion machinery, performing vital electrical maintenance, and driving continuous plant productivity within a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot complex electrical systems on PVC extrusion machinery to minimize production downtime.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and execute rapid corrective repairs on electrical faults.
- Diagnose technical bottlenecks, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement long-term engineering solutions.
- Assist with machine setup, calibration, and routine production line start-ups.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Maintain comprehensive maintenance logs and report equipment status updates to plant management.
- Enforce strict compliance with occupational health, safety regulations, quality assurance, and 5S workplace standards.
- Possession of an OND, HND, or Trade Test in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Mandatory hands-on professional experience specifically working with PVC extrusion machines.
- Working knowledge of PPR and other plastic extrusion equipment is a strong added advantage.
