Teestone Hotels & Apartments is a modern boutique hotel located in the peaceful neighborhood of Ikeja, just 15 minutes from Murtala Muhammed International Airport. We pride ourselves on offering a stylish and welcoming environment for business and leisure travelers alike. We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Experienced Laundry Personnel to join our dedicated housekeeping team and maintain our high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold all hotel linens, towels, staff uniforms, and guest laundry efficiently.
- Operate, monitor, and perform routine maintenance checks on commercial laundry machinery and equipment.
- Inspect all laundered items meticulously for stains, tears, or wear, reporting any damaged goods to management.
- Handle guest laundry with the utmost care, adhering strictly to hotel standard operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free laundry room and surrounding work areas.
- Monitor inventory levels of detergents, softeners, and supplies, notifying management promptly for replenishment.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Assist the housekeeping department with linen stock counts, storage organization, and general support duties when required.
- Proven professional experience working in a laundry, housekeeping, or hospitality environment in Nigeria.
- Proficiency in operating modern commercial washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality service delivery.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy laundry bags, and perform repetitive manual tasks.
- Good interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work harmoniously within a team.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to meet hotel operational demands.
