About the Role
Teestone Hotels & Apartments is a modern boutique hotel located in the peaceful neighborhood of Ikeja, just 15 minutes from Murtala Muhammed International Airport. We pride ourselves on offering comfort, convenience, and contemporary hospitality to business and leisure travelers in Lagos. We are currently seeking a professional, courteous, and customer-focused Hotel Waiter/Waitress to join our dynamic food and beverage team.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome guests warmly, assist with seating, and present menus with detailed knowledge of food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders and communicate them promptly to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve meals and beverages efficiently while ensuring high standards of presentation.
- Check on guests regularly to guarantee satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
- Process guest bills and handle payments accurately using the hotel's POS system.
- Maintain immaculate cleanliness and organization in the dining area, service stations, and equipment.
- Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and hotel service standards at all times.
- Assist with banquets, conferences, and special events as required by management.
- Minimum of SSCE or OND qualification from a recognized institution.
- Proven previous experience as a waiter or waitress in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
- Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Immaculate personal grooming and a professional appearance.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
