About the Role
VFD Group is an alternative financial services holding company creating innovative financial products for everyday Nigerians. We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Nationwide Branch Expansion Manager to drive the nationwide growth of VFD Microfinance Bank's physical branch network from our Lagos headquarters.
Key Responsibilities- Identify high-potential locations and conduct comprehensive feasibility studies for new branch rollouts.
- Oversee end-to-end branch setup, including infrastructure development, staffing, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align expansion strategies with overall business objectives.
- Monitor branch performance and implement initiatives to optimize customer acquisition and revenue growth.
- Coordinate closely with real estate, project, and operations teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- First degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related numerate discipline.
- Master's degree or MBA will be an added advantage.
- 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in banking, financial services, or fintech.
- Minimum of 5 years in a senior or managerial branch expansion, retail network, or business development role.
- Proven expertise in leading nationwide or multi-location rollout programs within the financial sector.
- Strong team management, sales, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Solid understanding of Nigerian banking and microfinance regulatory compliance frameworks.
