This role is central to promoting our exclusive events, driving guest engagement, and enhancing our reputation as a top-tier hospitality destination in Rivers State.
As an Event Promoter, you will be responsible for creating buzz around resort events, attracting attendees, and ensuring our brand maintains a strong, positive presence within the local and corporate community. The ideal candidate is confident, personable, and skilled at building relationships that translate into increased footfall and brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute promotional strategies to increase attendance at resort events
- Represent Gardenia Resort at various events, functions, and community engagements
- Distribute marketing materials and engage potential guests both online and offline
- Collaborate with the marketing and events team to design effective promotional campaigns
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and local businesses
- Monitor event performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement
- Utilize social media platforms to promote events and boost brand visibility
- Ensure consistent and professional representation of the Gardenia Resort brand at all times
- Relevant qualification in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field
- Proven experience in event promotion, marketing, or a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong networking abilities with a persuasive, confident personality
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative promotional ideas
- Familiarity with social media marketing tools and platforms
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required
