Golden Bell's Multi Concepts (GBMC) Limited, a premier hospitality consulting and management firm, is seeking a talented and driven Event Manager to join our Sales and Marketing department in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and execute diverse hospitality events from initial concept through to successful post-event evaluation.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales and Marketing department to align event strategies with overarching company goals and revenue targets.
- Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and venues, and ensure cost-effective delivery.
- Oversee on-site event operations to guarantee seamless execution, exceptional guest experiences, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Develop comprehensive event timelines, marketing collateral, promotional strategies, and detailed logistical plans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, partners, and key stakeholders in the hospitality sector.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Proven professional experience working as an Event Manager, Event Coordinator, or similar role within the hospitality or service industry.
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and project management abilities with strict attention to detail.
- Outstanding interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills for dealing with clients and vendors.
- In-depth knowledge of event management software, marketing trends, and local vendor networks in Port Harcourt.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings when necessary.
