About the Role

Operating from our ultra-modern manufacturing facilities, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and operational excellence. We are currently looking for a dedicated and qualified Environment, Health and Safety Officer to join our dynamic team at our Makun, Sagamu facility in Ogun State and ensure a safe, compliant workplace.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive Environmental, Health, and Safety policies and procedures in compliance with Nigerian regulatory standards.
- Conduct routine workplace inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards, unsafe acts, and environmental risks.
- Lead safety training programs and orientation sessions for all factory staff, contractors, and visitors.
- Investigate workplace accidents, near-misses, and environmental incidents, preparing detailed root-cause analysis reports and corrective action plans.
- Ensure proper waste management, pollution control, and adherence to environmental impact guidelines within the pharmaceutical plant.
- Maintain accurate safety records, incident logs, and compliance documentation for internal reviews and regulatory inspections.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Management, Occupational Safety, or a related scientific discipline.
- Possession of ISPON Level 2 or NEBOSH certification is mandatory.
- Previous working experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment will be a distinct advantage.
- Master's degree in Environmental Management or related fields is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of local and international EHS regulations and standard operating procedures.
