About the Role
The Plenipotent Company is seeking entrepreneurial-minded lawyers passionate about corporate and commercial legal practice. This specialized role combines practical legal experience, structured learning, business incubation, and long-term mentorship to develop exceptional legal professionals ready to establish their own technology-enabled law firms serving Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
This is not a conventional legal position. It is a carefully designed two-year professional and entrepreneurial development journey for lawyers committed to excellence in both practice and business ownership.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive legal research on corporate, regulatory, and commercial matters
- Draft and review commercial agreements including NDAs, Service Agreements, Joint Venture and Shareholders' Agreements
- Prepare legal opinions and advisory memoranda
- Assist in corporate restructuring and capital-raising transactions
- Draft and review real estate documentation and conduct property due diligence
- Draft board resolutions, minutes, and corporate governance documentation
- Support regulatory compliance and statutory filings
- Interface with clients and regulatory agencies professionally
- Participate in business development and knowledge-sharing initiatives
- 2–4 years' post-qualification legal experience
- Strong expertise in corporate and commercial legal drafting
- Excellent legal research and analytical capabilities
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and sound judgement
- Exceptional organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
