About the Role
Bave Design Studio is expanding our digital solutions and looking for an experienced Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) Implementation Specialist based in Lagos. In this role, you will help develop our growing ERP offering, successfully implement systems for diverse clients, and train their teams for optimal performance. While we are a remote-first team, this position requires availability for on-site client visits within Lagos and occasional travel outside the state as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Meet with clients to understand business operations and translate requirements into efficient ERP workflows.
- Lead end-to-end implementation including system configuration, data migration, testing, launch, and user onboarding.
- Configure and train users across core modules such as POS, inventory, purchasing, sales, CRM, HRM, accounting, and reporting.
- Help retail businesses optimize stock control, replenishment, returns, reconciliation, and multi-branch operations.
- Establish secure user roles, permissions, approval processes, and customized reports.
- Deliver comprehensive remote and on-site training alongside post-implementation support.
- Develop clear user guides, training videos, and standard implementation documentation.
- Collaborate with developers to identify system gaps, define improvements, and test new platform features.
- Coordinate with client finance teams regarding Nigerian tax settings, VAT calculations, and invoicing requirements.
- Proven hands-on experience implementing ERP systems, particularly for retail businesses.
- Demonstrated success in delivering full-cycle implementations from requirements gathering to user training.
- Deep understanding of retail operations and cross-functional ERP module integration.
- Exceptional ability to train both technical and non-technical users with clarity and patience.
- Proficiency in data migration, system configuration, user permissions, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with platforms such as ERPNext, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics, or SAP Business One.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax and VAT workflows, e-commerce integrations, and SaaS platforms.
- Based in Lagos with availability for frequent client-site visits and occasional travel.
