About the Role
Flutterwave is seeking a skilled Enterprise Integration Engineer to drive the technical onboarding of our high-value merchants, including global brands, payment service providers, and remittance companies. In this Lagos-based role, you will act as the primary technical lead from kick-off to stable live transactions, bridging the gap between sales and engineering to power Africa's digital economy.
Key Responsibilities- Drive merchant onboarding from contract signing to first live transaction, aiming for rapid deployment.
- Manage technical kick-off calls, scope custom API requirements, and recommend optimal setup solutions.
- Conduct rigorous pre-production testing for 3DS card payments, mobile money flows, and webhooks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, and Compliance to clear go-live checks.
- Debug REST API requests, resolve integration failures, and ensure robust merchant security practices.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- 4-9 years of relevant experience in integration engineering, technical account management, or implementation engineering.
- Proficiency in reading and debugging REST API requests and responses in JSON using Postman.
- Familiarity with reading code in JavaScript, Python, or PHP.
- Exceptional project management skills using Jira, with the ability to handle multiple high-value projects simultaneously.
