About the Role
Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Limited, a leading indigenous pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Nigeria, is seeking a strategic and results-driven Engineering Manager. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all engineering, maintenance, utilities, and infrastructure operations at our manufacturing facility, ensuring optimal plant reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate engineering, maintenance, automation, and utility teams to maximize plant uptime and equipment reliability.
- Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programmes to minimize downtime.
- Ensure strict adherence to cGMP, safety, and environmental standards across all engineering operations.
- Monitor key performance indicators including OEE, MTBF, and MTTR to drive continuous improvement.
- Manage engineering and maintenance budgets, capital expenditure (CAPEX), and spare parts inventory.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to deliver seamless manufacturing operations and capital projects.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within pharmaceutical, FMCG, or regulated manufacturing.
- Strong expertise in cGMP compliance, utilities management, and reliability-centred maintenance.
- Professional membership with COREN or NSE is an added advantage.
