About the Role
ProcessFlow Consulting Ltd is hiring a visionary Engineering Lead to drive our technical strategy and mentor our growing team of software developers in Nigeria. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business objectives and technical execution, ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performing web and mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for the engineering team, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Oversee the complete software development lifecycle, from system architecture and coding to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Establish rigorous coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes while conducting thorough code reviews.
- Manage engineering projects, allocate tasks effectively, monitor progress, and guarantee the timely delivery of milestones.
- Mentor and supervise software developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, technical growth, and accountability.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to translate complex business requirements into robust technical specifications.
- Evaluate and recommend modern technology stacks, software architecture, infrastructure, and automation tools, including relevant AI integrations.
- Monitor overall system performance, security, and reliability, proactively resolving technical challenges and infrastructure bottlenecks.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 6 years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or engineering management role.
- Proven expertise in designing and deploying scalable web and mobile applications, APIs, and distributed software systems.
- Deep understanding of modern software architecture, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a strong track record of mentoring developers and managing cross-functional projects.
