About the Role
Cedarcrest Hospitals is a leading modern specialist medical care centre located in Abuja, Nigeria, dedicated to providing world-class healthcare comparable to global standards. We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Emergency Department (ED) Resident Doctor to join our highly skilled medical team and deliver exceptional trauma and acute care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide prompt, efficient, and high-quality emergency medical and surgical care to patients presenting at the Emergency Department.
- Assess, stabilize, and manage acute trauma cases, medical emergencies, and surgical conditions in collaboration with senior specialists.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient electronic medical records, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team briefings, ward rounds, clinical audits, and continuous medical education programs.
- Ensure strict adherence to hospital protocols regarding patient safety, infection control, and clinical governance.
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Demonstrated clinical experience in an Emergency Department or trauma-focused healthcare setting is a strong advantage.
- Excellent clinical assessment, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
