About the Role
Saro AgroSciences Limited, a leading name in the Nigerian agricultural sector known for empowering farmers with superior agro-inputs and knowledge, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Technician. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our production operations run seamlessly by providing top-tier engineering supervision and technical support for processing, packaging, and utility systems.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and drive the maintenance of herbicide formulation and filling-line machinery and equipment.
- Program, troubleshoot, and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) with high proficiency.
- Manage utility operations to ensure smooth running and optimal efficiency in compliance with safety standards.
- Apply mechanical, electrical, and general engineering troubleshooting skills to sustain onsite utilities.
- Track, record, analyze, and schedule routine maintenance in line with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) standards.
- Read and interpret electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to install and repair wiring systems.
- Maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, extraction, ventilation, and fire suppression systems.
- Minimum of an HND with Upper Credit in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation/Automation, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Mandatory working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
- At least 3 to 5 years of relevant hands-on work experience in an FMCG, processing, or filling-line environment.
- Age requirement: 28 to 35 years.
