About the Role
G-Prest Imperial Limited is a leading agro-allied manufacturing company dedicated to adding value to Nigeria's agricultural sector through the production of high-quality animal feeds, contributing to food security and sustainable economic growth. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Technician to ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our plant's electrical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and control systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic faults rapidly to minimize operational downtime.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, circuit diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
- Fabricate or adjust electrical parts according to precise technical specifications.
- Inspect electrical panels and plant equipment using approved safety and maintenance checklists.
- Participate actively in preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance programs.
- Record energy consumption and maintain accurate shift and maintenance documentation.
- Calibrate industrial weighing scales and other critical electrical measuring devices.
- Possession of an OND, NABTEB, Trade Test, or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of hands-on electrical maintenance experience within a factory or industrial manufacturing plant.
- Comprehensive knowledge of complex industrial electrical systems and safety standards.
- Proven expertise in advanced fault-finding, troubleshooting, and reading technical schematics.
