About the Role
JMG, a market leader in power generation and energy solutions in Nigeria, is seeking a motivated and experienced Electrical Team Lead to join our expanding technical workforce. In this role, you will supervise field electrical officers, oversee maintenance activities, and ensure the seamless installation, testing, troubleshooting, and servicing of diesel generator electrical systems, ATS, and control panels. Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate field electrical officers to ensure efficient execution of daily maintenance and installation tasks.
- Provide technical oversight for troubleshooting complex diesel generator electrical systems, automatic transfer switches (ATS), and control panels.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory compliance standards across all project sites.
- Plan and manage resources effectively to meet service level agreements and project timelines.
- Prepare regular operational reports and mentor team members to foster professional growth and technical proficiency.
- Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in the generator or power generation industry.
- Hands-on expertise working with generator electrical systems, control modules, and power distribution setups.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Willingness to travel or relocate as required by project locations across Nigeria.
