About the Role
Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Limited, a leading indigenous pharmaceutical manufacturing giant founded in 1984, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Engineering Officer. In this vital role, you will ensure the seamless operation and maintenance of electrical infrastructure, supporting our mission to deliver flawless, high-quality healthcare products across Nigeria and the West African coast.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance of electrical systems, including replacing, repairing, and cleaning light bulbs, sockets, starters, and distribution panels.
- Conduct efficient fault finding and troubleshooting for Star-Delta and Direct-On-Line (DOL) motor circuits.
- Measure and verify earth resistance for various industrial equipment and overall facility earthing systems.
- Manage utility and general plant equipment maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize energy efficiency.
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance, as well as rapid response to electrical breakdowns and facility shutdowns.
- Oversee the safe operation, servicing, and maintenance of heavy-duty power generator systems.
- Demonstrate hands-on familiarity with Air Circuit Breakers (ACB) and Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCB) panels.
- Monitor, record, and analyze daily plant electrical consumption to drive energy conservation initiatives.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant electrical maintenance experience gained within a pharmaceutical, chemical, or process manufacturing environment.
