About the Role
Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Limited, a leading indigenous pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Nigeria, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Effluent Treatment Plant Executive to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our environmental standards, ensuring that all waste management and effluent treatment processes strictly align with internal Standard Operating Procedures and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Execute day-to-day Effluent Treatment Plant operations in strict compliance with established SOPs and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date ETP processing records on a daily basis.
- Coordinate all operational and technical issues related to the effluent treatment facility.
- Conduct and monitor COD, BOD, ammonia, and other critical water quality tests during each shift as per standard test methods.
- Ensure timely troubleshooting of plant equipment and collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a closely related discipline.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant professional experience in effluent treatment operations within a pharmaceutical, chemical, or large-scale manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations, wastewater treatment chemistry, and safety protocols.
